The Perceval Institute
A well maintained village hall for hire in St Minver, North Cornwall for leisure and business activities
The Perceval Institute – Village Hall for the local community and St Minver Post Office
The Perceval Institute mission is to continue to increase the use of our facilities to a wider range of local organisations and community.
We have successfully provided facilities for the local community of all ages, from the under fives to the over seventies. The Institute, built in 1895, is located at the heart of the village. It is a separate self-supporting charity created in 1999 and the Parochial Church Council (PCC) is named as the managing trustee.
In 2018 a secure section of the building was let for use as a Sub Post Office. Apart from the off-street parking, the Institute enjoys its own private car parking at the rear.
It is in reality, the Village Hall and has always enjoyed considerable community support from its very inception, which is very evident in the financial support from donations and grants attracted to enable the committee to undertake major upgrades including a replacement roof.
The hall has a fully equipped kitchen, and every opportunity has been used to update kitchen and hall with equipment, Wi-Fi etc. to attract hirers where possible.
